Ontario Provincial Police have issued arrest warrants for two Ottawa men in connection with the suspicious death investigation in Perth from April 12.
Lanark County OPP say officers were called to Last Duel Park that Sunday, where a 34-year-old Ottawa man was found with life-threatening injuries. Christo Allison Richards was taken to a trauma centre, where he later died.
Police have now identified two suspects wanted on second degree murder charges. Warrants have been issued for 34-year-old Joseph Madore and 28-year-old Brayton Kennedy, both of Ottawa.
Investigators are warning the public not to approach either man if seen, and to call police immediately. No description has been given.
The homicide investigation is being led by the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, with support from the Office of the Chief Coroner, Ontario Forensic Pathology Service and several specialized OPP units.
Police have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the death.
Anyone with information on the suspects or the investigation is asked to contact Lanark County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
