Lanark County will ask the Almonte hospital to craft a 10 year paramedic capital resource plan in a bid to identify long-term needs instead of green-lighting the two extra bays they asked for.
CAO Kurt Greaves says there was relieved pressure last year since the province fully funded the community paramedicine program.
The plan would review all existing fleets and bases and in the county’s eyes, make sure present and future spent-money is stretching as far as it can.
