Mayor Pankow and Councillor Miller had the pleasure of meeting Greg, Founder of OTR4MentalHealth, Thursday as he passed through the town on his remarkable 14-day, approximately 600 km walk from Niagara Falls to Ottawa.
Greg’s journey aims to raise awareness about the stigma surrounding mental health and the toxic drug crisis, while fostering community solidarity in this crucial fight.
Greg lost his son to drug poinsoning in 2019, His walks are in his memory and to honour all who have lost this battle.
Greg’s dedication and advocacy work for mental health issues have garnered widespread admiration. His walk is not just a testament to his passion but also a call to action for communities to unite and address these pressing challenges.
