Robbie Thomson has been missing since 2023.
The OPP are keeping quiet following Wednesday’s search warrant in Smiths Falls.
Police told the public they were focused on an Empress Avenue address in connection with the 2023 disappearance of Robbie Thomson, and there was no threat to public safety.
When followed up by myFM, OPP Spokesperson Bill Dickson said, “As this remains an ongoing criminal investigation, we can’t provide any specific details on what led to the search or what may (or may not) have been found.”
Dickson said if anyone does have information on the Robbie Thomson missing person case, and they have not yet spoken to investigators, they should call the dedicated tipline at 1-855-677-4636.
If someone has information, but wants to remain anonymous, they should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
