Smiths Falls is stepping into the holiday season with a full lineup of winter activities, and town staff say the community spirit has never been stronger.
Tourism, Arts and Culture Coordinator Jeff Murphy says local businesses, volunteers and cultural sites are creating one of the best times of year to come and visit.
Murphy says the town has seen strong support from residents and visitors, and he credits groups like the Downtown Business Association, the Heritage House Museum and the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario for helping Smiths Falls build momentum.
He adds both Town Square and Centennial Park will be lit up for the season creating a festive setting for locals and tourists.
Murphy encourages anyone searching for holiday fun or hard-to-find gifts to make Smiths Falls their next stop.
He also noted the number of craft markets, bake sales and family events planned across the community.
Murphy says the town’s rising energy reflects a shared commitment to creating memorable experiences during the winter months.
