Mississippi Mills Mayor Christa Lowry, like almost all politicians today, has had to deal with her share of negative interactions with the public, both in person and online.
She notes that she’s fortunate to live and work in Mississippi Mills, a smaller community where most residents know each other and are very respectful, but admits sometimes she’s on the receiving end of a tirade.
She finds that how she responds in those cases, makes a big difference in the outcome.
She remains a big supporter of public service as a rewarding way to help improve the lives of those in our communities and has no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who asks.
