The Mayoral race in Perth now has two runners.
Councillor David Bird confirmed he has filed his nomination papers and will seek the Mayors Chair in October.
Stephanie Drummond was first out of the gate announcing her candidacy on the first day nominations were open.
Smiths Falls has two candidates, Nate Morris and Chris Cummings. Carleton Place has none.
The official candidate list will be finalized August 24.
