A Carleton Place musician set out last year to do something meaningful for the Lanark County Food Bank, also known as The Hunger Stop, after seeing that the need in the community was not going down.
That’s Andrew J Jahn, who says his goal of raising ten thousand dollars is now closer than ever.
Jahn says the multi-genre concert idea has really caught on. The last show raised just over thirty-seven hundred dollars.
A wind-up for the Something for Everyone series is planned for October, but over the summer, Jahn will also be playing some solo gigs.
After this Saturday’s show, the next one is scheduled for June 13th.
