A Mississippi Mills man is facing 29 criminal charges following a series of thefts from vehicles in Lanark County.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers received reports on July 7 of thefts from unattended vehicles in Mississippi Mills. Following an investigation, 28-year-old Dustin Amos has been charged with multiple offences, including theft under $5,000, attempted theft, mischief, trespassing at night and numerous counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Police arrested Amos on July 9. He appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth for a bail hearing.
The OPP is reminding residents to lock unattended vehicles and keep valuables out of sight to help prevent property crimes.
