An Ottawa resident is facing four charges after Smiths Falls police responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence.
Police said officers were called July 9 after receiving information that someone was refusing to leave the home.
Officers attended and began an investigation.
Police said investigators determined that the individual was allegedly breaching both a release order and court-ordered probation conditions.
Zoe Hamill, 33, of Ottawa was taken into custody.
Hamill has been charged with resisting a peace officer, failing to comply with a release order and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Police said Hamill was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
