Lanark County, the Town of Perth and CAIVAN (Perth GC) Limited have reached a settlement in an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal.
The appeal, filed by CAIVAN, is listed under case number OLT-23-000534. The appeal concerns CAIVAN’s Perth golf course property.
A one-day settlement hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 6, beginning at 10 a.m. The hearing will be held by video conference and members of the public are welcome to observe.
Anyone planning to watch is asked to join the virtual meeting at least 15 minutes before the hearing begins. Access is available through the online meeting link provided by the municipality using access code 638-422-541.
The hearing will allow the tribunal to consider the agreement reached by the three parties.
No details about the settlement have been released ahead of the hearing. Lanark County and the Town of Perth say more information will be made public once the tribunal hearing has concluded.
