The third annual Rideau Rides and Rides Car Club show in Toledo has been cancelled due to rain in the forecast.
Organizers had originally moved the event from Sunday, Aug. 2 to its planned rain date on Monday, Aug. 3. However, continued wet weather in the forecast has forced the club to cancel the show entirely.
The event will not be rescheduled.
More than 200 vehicles had been expected at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 475, including antiques, street rods, sports cars, English models and Japanese imports.
Organizers thanked vehicle owners, volunteers, sponsors and community members for their understanding and support.
