Lanark County homeowners can learn how to make their homes more comfortable, energy efficient and affordable during a free virtual information session next month.
The Better Homes Lanark session runs Tuesday, Aug. 11, from noon until 1 p.m.
The program supports homeowners who are considering energy-saving renovations. It offers retrofit coaching, financing options and incentives for upgrades designed to reduce energy use and improve comfort.
Better Homes Lanark is delivered by Lanark County in partnership with local municipalities and EnviroCentre.
During the online session, residents can learn how the program works, what types of projects may qualify and what help is available throughout the retrofit process.
Registration is required for the free Zoom presentation.
County officials say the program can help homeowners better understand their renovation options before making major decisions or investments.
More information about the program and the registration link can be found at lanarkcounty.ca/betterhomeslanark.
