The food will fill shelves, but the people behind the Good Food Bank at the Table CFC are providing plenty of energy for today’s myFM All Hands on Deck Food Drive.
The third annual event takes place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Barnabe’s Independent Grocer and Metro Perth.
Good Food Bank co-lead Coral McMahon says the organization’s volunteers are already preparing for the campaign and understand how important a successful collection will be heading into the fall.
Many give their time regularly to help keep the food bank operating and support people using its services.
McMahon will also be joining myFM staff during the drive as donations come in from shoppers and listeners.
That enthusiasm comes with plenty of gratitude for everyone who plan
s to participate, whether they contribute groceries, money or their time.
Organizers say every contribution matters, no matter how small.
