Yesterday’s 88.1 myFM All Hands on Deck Food Drive was a big success.
Overall, 1,814 lbs of food and $2,740.16 was collected for the Good Food Bank at the Table CFC.
The Table CFC Executive Director Rob Rainer tells LanarkLeedsToday.ca says the summer-time drive comes at a crucial time for their organization.
Rainer says the money that was donated after people opened their wallets for the cause is a big boost.

The food drive took place at Barnabe’s YIG and Metro Perth and was presented by McPhee & Company.
Rainer says he is grateful to all who made it happen.
Donations were collected in boats provided by Perth Powersports and Marine.
Next week we do it all again as the first ever 92.3 WOW FM All Hands on Deck Food Drive takes place on August 27th from 10 until 4 at Jonsson’s Independent in Smiths Falls.

Thank you to one and all for your donations!
