Smiths Falls residents can now make sure their information is correct on the voters’ list for the 2026 Municipal Election.
The town says revisions have been available since Sept. 1 and can continue right up until voting closes at 8 p.m. on Oct. 26.
Residents can ask to be added to the voters’ list, removed from it or have incorrect information fixed.
Anyone making a change will need proper identification and proof of residence.
Voters who need assistance can contact Giselle Nayel, executive assistant with Corporate Services at Smiths Falls Town Hall.
She can be reached at 613-283-4124 ext. 1125 or by email at [gnayel@smithsfalls.ca](mailto:gnayel@smithsfalls.ca).
The town is encouraging residents to check their information early so they do not run into problems when it is time to vote.
More details about voter identification and election requirements are available through the Town of Smiths Falls website.
Other municipalities offer the same service.
