Lanark County OPP has charged a 48-year-old Carleton Place man following a child luring investigation.
Police executed four search warrants in Carleton Place on October 1 with help from the OPP Digital Forensics Unit. Officers seized several electronic devices during the investigation.
Police say Troy Latham was arrested and charged with five counts of child luring.
Latham remains in custody pending a bail hearing Wednesday, October 7.
Investigators say the accused used online aliases including “SmoothDancer17” and “TMAC The Dance King.” Police are asking anyone who may have communicated with him to contact the OPP.
