Perth residents may notice temporary changes in water colour or pressure as Environmental Services crews carry out fall hydrant flushing from Oct. 13 to 16.
The routine work can sometimes stir up sediment in the water system, causing discolouration for a short period.
Anyone who notices coloured water is being advised to run a cold water tap until the water clears.
The Town of Perth says any changes in water colour or pressure should be temporary.
Residents with additional concerns can contact Environmental Services at 613-267-3311 ext. 2221.
