Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands & Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark has announced the Province is spending more than $41,800 on projects that will help seniors stay safe, fit, active, healthy and socially connected.
Among those receiving money from the Seniors Community Grants are the Beth Donovan Hospice, in North Grenville, which gets $7,500, and the Township of Rideau Lakes which gets $11,800.
These projects are part of the 305 Seniors Community Grants across Ontario this year.
Since 2018 1249 community based projects have been funded to the tune of almost $22 million.
