There’s been a bit of a surge of COVID-19 cases in Lanark, Leeds and Grenville over the past little while.
The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit reports 93 new high risk cases recorded in the past week alone.
There are currently two people hospitalized with the virus, but none are ventilated or in an ICU.
There have been 158 COVID-19-related deaths since the pandemic began, three years ago.
There are now six outbreaks reported, all in congregate care facilities, accounting for 138 cases.
