It was another record setting year for Relay for Life.
Over $108,000 was raised by St. John Catholic High School students for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Teacher and co-coordinator Dave Peters told Lake 88 more money is still coming in so the overall total will grow.
This crushes the previous single-year record of $73,000 set last year, as the school rallied around a ninth grade student who’s battling cancer.
The event now inches closer to raising a combined $1 million in its 22 year history.
