Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino is calling the fact that he was kept in the dark over the move of notorious child-rapist and serial killer Paul Bernardo “unacceptable.”
But he isn’t tell anyone how it happened.
Questions continue to fly about why he and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were among the last to know about the killer’s move, despite their staff knowing about months earlier.
Trudeau says he knows the news hit many hard.
Bernardo was held at Kingston Penitentiary until it closed in 2013 before being moved to Millhaven Institution in Bath, just an hour and 20 minutes south or Perth. He has since been moved to a medium security prison in Quebec.
