Lanark County residents are encouraged to weigh in on the county’s Climate Action Plan.
As a member of the Partners for Climate Protection program, the county’s first climate action plan draft outlines the county’s aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its corporate operations and from the community as a whole.
The plan includes proposed corporate actions around education, transportation and equipment, buildings and energy, waste diversion and management, and housing.
