Jodi Bucholtz, Manager of the Local Immigration Partnership for Lanark and Renfrew Counties, spoke to the effort.
Bucholtz underscores the importance of garnering widespread support for the strategy’s eight aspects of attraction and eight facets of retention. The goal is to cultivate a welcoming environment for immigrants entering the workforce, ultimately enhancing their likelihood to establish lasting roots in the region.
