The holiday means that we’re looking at some closures around the region as people take in the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Government offices are shut down across the board on Monday. That means no town hall, provincial or federal business until next Tuesday.
Most Beer Stores and LCBOs are closed for the holiday, but convenience stores remain open for alcohol sales. Agency locations like Rideau Ferry and Innisville on Highway 7 between Perth and Carleton Place are open.
Many grocery stores are open on reduced hours. Take note of the hours posted on the doors if you’re out and about.
Libraries and municipal childcare centres are closed across the region.
And the Rideau Canal Lock Stations close for the season on Monday afternoon.
