MY BROADCASTING CORPORATION has expanded its presence in Ontario with the acquisition of three radio stations from Rogers Sports & Media, officially relaunching them under new community-focused formats.
The deal includes 92.3 CJET-FM in Smiths Falls, which is now 92.3 WOW-FM – Classic pop and local news for Smiths Falls.
MBC President Jon Pole says Smiths Falls is a great place to set up shop.
MBC plans to build a new studio in Smiths Falls in the coming months. The upgraded facilities will enhance local journalism and community programming, aligning with MBC’s mission to strengthen hometown radio.
Pole says the music will be fun, and the station will work hand-in-hand with 88.1 myFM based out of Perth.
Pole added, “Our mission is simple: support the communities we serve, deliver great content, and help local businesses grow. We’re just getting started.”
92.3 WOW FM will also be backed by digital news platforms, including right here at LanarkLeedsToday.ca.
