The RCL Automotive Build a Mountain of Food campaign continues this weekend with stops in Perth and Lanark to help local families facing food insecurity.
Amica Hewitt, from the Perth Good Food Bank at The Table, says demand has never been higher.
Hewitt outlines that there are tough choices to be made, for people of all walks of life.
The Perth Good Food Bank now serves more than 300 families each month.
Hewitt adds that volunteers are urgently needed to meet the growing need.
Donations will be collected Saturday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Metro Perth, Barnabe’s Your Independent Grocer, Foodsmiths, and Giant Tiger — all in support of the Perth Good Food Bank.
In Lanark, donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Andrew’s United Church, benefiting the Lanark Highlands Food Pantry.
