Perth Mayor Judy Brown provided her views on the events of 2025.
One of the top items discussed was the recent announcement that Caivan Communities, Perth and Lanark County had successfully come to a mediated agreement to permit a one-thousand home subdivision on the former Perth Golf Course Lands.
Judy spelled out the next steps.
She was expecting that construction might be able to start in late summer of next year. She also addressed a concern in Perth, as well as many small town communities, facing unprecedented growth; that of losing small-town charm.
