Business students at Queens University may soon be developing the next strategic plan for the Smiths Falls Police Service.
Chief Jodi Empey was approached by the school, which she says has already developed other strategic plans for area police services, with the offer.
Empey provided a brief cost estimate.
The police board voted in favour of seeing this through.
