A LOTTO MAX ticket sold in Lanark County has landed a major prize following Tuesday night’s draw, giving the local area something to celebrate.
According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, a second prize worth $141,315.10 was won with a ticket purchased in Lanark County. No name has been released.
While the $15 million jackpot was claimed by a ticket sold in Brant County, lottery officials say several other significant wins were recorded across Ontario.
The draw adds to a strong run of recent LOTTO MAX wins in the province, including a $55 million jackpot sold in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell earlier this month.
OLG says players in Ontario have won more than $9.7 billion since 2009.
