Drummond/North Elmsley Reeve Steve Fournier is retiring after 12 years in municipal politics.
He felt it was time to move on after two terms as Reeve and four years as a councillor.
Fournier is proud of what the township has accomplished during his tenure.
He told us it’s now time for the next chapter.
Prior to his political career, Fournier spent 36 years in the recreation and fire services sector for the Town of Perth, and served as Deputy Fire Chief with the Drummond/North Elmsley Tay Valley Fire Service.
