Stewart Park Festival (file)
The Stewart Park Festival is promising three days of music designed to appeal to many listeners when it returns to Perth from July 17 to 19.
Festival chair Shawn Vermier says organizers build the schedule around variety, giving audiences a chance to hear familiar favourites while discovering performers and styles they may not usually seek out.
The festival will use three stages, allowing music to continue across Stewart Park, the area across the river and the Crystal Palace. That setup creates different experiences throughout the weekend, from large evening concerts to smaller daytime performances.
Along with the headline acts, the schedule includes local and visiting musicians. Organizers say that range is a key part of the festival’s identity and gives families, longtime fans and first-time visitors reasons to explore the full program.
Fans will also have an opportunity to support performers by purchasing their recordings and other items near the main stage at the merch tent.
Admission remains by donation, helping keep the event accessible while supporting live music in downtown Perth.
Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, arrive early for popular performances and explore all three stages.
