Artists across the region have until Aug. 28 to submit work for a new fall exhibition in Smiths Falls.
The Big Art Gallery at the Falls is preparing to host *An Autumn Art Affair* from Sept. 9 to Nov. 1.
Both emerging and established artists are invited to apply, with submissions welcome in painting, photography, ceramics, woodworking, stonework, glasswork, metal sculpture, mixed media and fibre art.
Artists can submit up to eight images of specific pieces they would like considered.
All submissions will be juried, and acceptance is not guaranteed.
Successful applicants will be notified by Sept. 3, with artwork delivery scheduled for Sept. 6 and 7.
The gallery retains a 20 per cent commission on works sold during the exhibition.
Artists selected for the show are also expected to volunteer 24 hours over the two-month run and are responsible for arranging their own insurance coverage.
Submissions must include contact information, artwork details, pricing and a short biography or artist statement.
