Smiths Falls Councillor Jay Brennan is not seeking a fifth term, deciding he’s happy with what’s been accomplished and ready to relax.
Brennan has seen the town change dramatically during his 16-years at the council table, and feels he’s leaving it in a good state.
One of Brennan’s favourite accomplishment is rallying council to match contributions made towards a dog park.
He has advice to those seeking a council seat in October, after winning four elections himself.
Brennan is excited to see what is next for the town, and feels Smiths Falls continues to head in the right direction.
