Leeds County OPP has charged a 41-year-old Rideau Lakes man following a dispute at a residence in Rideau Lakes Township.
Police say the victim suffered minor injuries.
The man faces four charges, including robbery with violence, assault causing bodily harm by choking, suffocating or strangling, theft under $5,000 and driving while under suspension.
Police are not releasing the accused’s identity in order to protect the identity of the victim.
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled for a bail hearing Friday, September 25, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville.
