A driver from the Niagara area is facing charges from Grey Bruce OPP.
The incident happened Sunday after an officer saw a grey car travelling south on Highway 6 south of Ferndale at a high rate of speed.
OPP say they were driving over 130 km/h in the posted 80 km/h zone.
Driving 50 km over the speed limit warrants a stunt driving charge.
Once police pulled the vehicle over, the officer noticed signs of alcohol consumption and ordered a breath test.
The driver allegedly failed, and is also charged with driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mgs.
The 23 year old from St. Catherine’s has a promise to appear in court in Owen Sound on September 19th.
