Huron County OPP made a quick arrest in a stabbing incident in Wingham.
OPP officers and Paramedic Services were dispatched Tuesday afternoon around 2 to the downtown area in relation to an adult male that was in need of medical assistance after having just been stabbed.
Some officers were in the right place at the right time, as they were already witnesses to the incident.
One officer stayed with the victim and provided first aid while two other officers located and arrested the suspect without incident on Josephine Street.
The male victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released with non-life threatening injuries.
A 23 year old male from Wingham has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and two counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
The accused remains in custody with a video court appearance scheduled for Thursday.
