Most of the Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance’s IT system is back up and running.
The hospital’s system was struck with ransomware on September 27th.
President and CEO Carl Ellis says they have been able to recover their data and get most of their system back online.
Ellis says during the time the system was down, doctors, nurses and staff had to resort to using paper process and some procedures had to be cancelled.
But he says no patient information was compromised.
