There is an information session in Kincardine for those interested in becoming a Personal Support Worker.
It is happening Monday night at the UBC Local 2222 building on Queen Street from 6 until 8.
It is being put on by Fanshawe College and Program Manager Heather Mackenzie-Card says there is funding available for those who qualify.
Mackenzie-Card says organizations can also offer bursaries to those to attend a college program.
She says PSW’s are vital in communities as they help those who are recovering from serious injuries or medical condition and want to stay home.
