Slowly but surely, Brucelea Haven in Walkerton is getting things back in order.
The County of Bruce has been dealing with compliance issues at the long-term carer facility.
Primacare Living Solutions were brought in by the County to ensure the facility is in compliance with provincial standards.
COO of Primacare Jill Knowlton says they are making excellent progress as they look to once again open the doors to new residents.
Currently, Brucelea Haven is not accepting new residents until the matter has been resolved.
Knowlton, who is also serving as the County’s acting director of long-term care, says there will be bumps along the road.
But she says staff at the facility have been cooperative and working alongside them has been great.
