In the OHL. The Owen Sound Attack begin their Northern Ontario road swing with a 4-2 loss to Sault Ste. Marie last night. Zack Trott with a pair of goals and an assist for the Greyhounds. Sam Sedley and Barrett Kirwin scored for the Attack who are in Sudbury tonight to take on the Wolves.
In the PJHL. Kaleb Martin scored twice and added an assist as Kincardine downed Wingham 4-0. It is the first time the Pollock division leaders were shutout this season. Bulldogs forward Bryce McFadden with a goal and an assist in his first game back in more than a month. He says the team played a complete game.
McFadden says special teams especially the power play was flawless.
Sean Andrus made 26 saves for the shutout.
Elsewhere, Nathan Thibodeau with four points including a hat trick as Walkerton defeated Goderich 7-4. A five point night for Ryley Cribbin as Mount Forest crushed Hanover 7-2.
Saturday’s schedule sees Kincardine at home to Hanover, Goderich welcomes Wingham, and Mitchell visits Mount Forest.
In WOAA. Durham were 7-4 winners over Shallow Lake.
On Saturday, Ripley is hosting Mapleton-Minto, Tillsonburg travels to Clinton, Seaforth entertains Milverton, and Lucknow is home to Petrolia.
