In the PJHL. Newcomer Justin Donnelly scored twice as the Wingham Ironmen defeated the Mount Forest Patriots 5-2 last night. Donnelly was playing in his second game since being acquired from Walkerton and says it was fun being in the middle of an intense rivalry.
Logan Tolton (2 goals) and Brady Becker (1 goal, 1 assist) also with 2 points for the Ironmen who now trail the Patriots by 3 points for first place in the Pollock Division.
Elsewhere, Jerrod Fossold with 4 points including a hat trick as the Kincardine Bulldogs downed the Walkerton Hawks 5-1. Kaden Hoggarth with 2 goals and 2 assists as the Goderich Flyers doubled up the Hanover Barons 4-2.
In WOAA. Saugeen Shores got a pair of goals from James McHaig in a 6-3 victory over Shallow Lake. It was Clinton over Milverton 7-3.
