In the OHL. Mack Guzda stopped 25 of 26 shots he faced as the Owen Sound Attack defeated The Guelph Storm 4-1 on Friday. Sergei Popov, Andrew Perrot, and Carter Robertson each with 2 assists for the Attack.
In the PJHL. Chase Meurs with the OT winner as Wingham edged Mount Forest 3-2. The Ironmen have won seven straight and Meurs says they have been playing well after losing back-to-back games last month.
Justin Donnelly and Kyle Stanbury each with a goal and an assist for Wingham who have a 2-point lead on Mount Forest for first place in the Pollock Division.
One other game saw Mitchell also needing overtime to beat Hanover 3-2. Ryan Marriage with the winner for the Barons. Ryan Murray with a goal and an assist for the Hawks.
In WOAA. Saugeen Shores fell 3-2 to Seaforth, Clinton overpowered Petrolia 10-4.
