In the OHL. Connor Lockhart’s goal midway through the third was the difference as Erie downed Owen Sound 5-3 last night. Brady Lyle had a goal and an assist for the Attack.
In the PJHL. Kaden Hoggarth capped a 3-goal comeback with the overtime winner as Goderich rallied to beat Wingham 3-2. The Flyers were down 2-0 with less than five minutes left in the third and goaltender Logan Vermunt says that was when the tide started to turn in their favour.
Vermunt made 51 saves while Hoggarth finished with a goal and an assist. Kyle Stanbury and Rhys Vollmer also had a goal and an assist each for the Ironmen. Elsewhere, Blair Buchart with a goal and two assists as Mount Forest defeated Walkerton 5-1.
In WOAA. Saugeen Shores were 6-2 winners over Lucknow. Seaforth hammering Elora 8-3. And Clinton pounded Shelburne 8-2.
