Wingham takes Game 1 of their PJHL Pollock semifinal series. Logan Colton and Brady Becker each with a goal and an assist in a 4-1 victory over Kincardine. Colton says the win was due to a good start and maintaining momentum.
Game two goes tonight in Kincardine. The Bulldogs are still without Tyler Sutter who suffered a concussion in last Friday’s clinching game against Goderich in the quarterfinal round.
In the WOAA playoffs. Saugeen Shores live to see another game. The Winterhawks blanked Tillsonburg 4-0 and now trail their “AA” quarterfinal series 3-2. Game six is tonight in Tillsonburg. Elsewhere, Clinton edged Seaforth 3-2 and the Radars are up 3-2 in that series. Game 6 goes tonight in Seaforth.
Saturday’s Schedule:
To the OHL. The Owen Sound Attack welcome the Erie Otters in the first of back to back games at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Tonight’s game starts at 7:30, tomorrow is a matinee at 2.
In the PJHL playoffs. Kincardine will look to even their Pollock semifinal series when they host Wingham in Game 2. Ironmen forward Logan Tolton says winning the series opener gives his team a huge advantage.
Game time at the Davidson Centre is 7:30. Also the Mitchell Hawks entertain the Mount Forest Patriots in Game 2 of that series. Mount Forest is up 1-0.
Over in the WOAA playoffs. Saugeen Shores will look to force a seventh and deciding game when they travel to Tillsonburg this evening for Game 6 of their “AA” quarterfinal series. The Winterhawks stayed alive with a 4-0 shutout last night and trail the Thunder 3-2. Also Clinton visits Seaforth for Game 6 with the Radars up 3-2.
