Huron County OPP are investigating a hit and run in the north end of Wingham.
A pedestrian was struck by a pick up truck on Josephine Street near B-Line Road Wednesday afternoon around 2:15.
Police arrived at the scene along with Huron County Paramedics and North Huron Fire Department where they found the pedestrian but the pick up truck was nowhere to be seen.
The victim was taken to hospital where they are being treated for unknown injuries.
A large section of Josephine Street/London Road (Huron Road 4) was closed as members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team members were at the scene assisting in the investigation.
Anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or knows the whereabouts of the suspect vehicle and its driver, is being asked to contact Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
