A resident in Wingham is facing charges.
This after Huron County OPP were called to a home last Thursday night around 8:23 about what is being called a mental health incident.
An investigation determined that a man tossed an object in the direction of his partner.
The object did not strike the victim but it did damage a window.
Officers tried to arrest the man but he resisted eventually becoming hostile and reportedly coughed at an officer.
The accused has since been released and will have a court date in the summer.
