Police in Wingham catching a man who was seen breaking into homes.
A Huron County OPP officer was out doing property checks Tuesday night when he spotted a suspicious man going in and around several homes on Josephine Street around 11:30.
They say the officer followed the suspect to an unoccupied residence.
Back up was called but the officer had the suspect in custody before they arrived.
A search of the suspect turned up break-in tools and suspected methamphetamine.
A 38-year-old man from Morris-Turnberry is facing charges and was later released with a June 29th court date in Goderich.
