A honking driver got the attention of Huron County OPP.
An officer followed the sound of the horn to a pick up truck travelling north on Josephine Street Saturday night around 11:45.
The officer stopped the vehicle on Howick-Turnberry Road.
When speaking to the driver, the officer noticed the smell of alcohol.
A search of the vehicle turned up an open container of alcohol.
The driver was arrested after failing a roadside breath test, two more tests at the Listowel detachment both resulted failed readings.
The 24-year-old man from Teeswater had his vehicle towed and license suspended for 90 days and will appear in a Goderich court June 29th.
