Avon Maitland District School Board has approved roofing and lighting work at Goderich District Collegiate Institute and F.E. Madill Secondary School.
GDCI will receive re-roofing of the cafeteria and west corridor.
The roofing work will cost approximately $306 thousand.
Work at F.E. Madill includes replacing the existing condensing units, energy recovery ventilator and exhaust fans in Science classrooms.
Lighting fixtures in two classrooms will be replaced with new LED lighting and controls.
That will run the AMDSB approximately $233,000.
